01: A Very Strange Monk...The streets of Jerusalem were crowded and smelly. The sun was hot, but that had not kept many people from getting out of their houses and attending their usual duties. Noises were coming from everywhere. Feet dragged on the dusty ground, the laughs of the children, even music, but the most prominent of them all were the shouts of the merchants who were desperately trying to sell their goods before they became rotten in the tremendous heat.

Here's the first part of a little comic I did in order to celebrate L's birthday, which is a few days from now.

Unfortunately, I had to draw this in a big hurry, since I barely have time for anything these days. I really wished I put more effort in this piece. :/
Oh, and in case you didn't get the reference, in the game L is playing, an evil(ish) robot promises you that you will have cake at the end of a test she is putting you through, but at one point you see the words "The cake is a lie" written on a wall.
